Rachel Eftink-Cary, LIMHP, LADC, CPC


Rachel graduated from Creighton University with her BA in psychology in 2005. She earned her MS in counseling from Bellevue University, graduating in 2008. Rachel began her career working with young children and adolescents before broadening her practice to include adult mental health and substance use clients. She has run substance use groups for adolescents and adults as well as provided individual and family therapy. Rachel enjoys working with all ages and utilizes various interventions from CBT, DBT, CPT, EMDR, play therapy, and reality therapy. She has been practicing since 2008.

Carmen Krueger, LMHP, LCSW, LADC, LIMHP


Carmen earned her Bachelor of Social Work in 1993 from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Nebraska Omaha in 1997. Carmen has her license in mental health, social work, and drug/alcohol counseling. Carmen specializes in all areas of mental health, addictions, and co-occurring disorders. She utilizes evidenced based practices in therapy such as cognitive behavioral training, motivational techniques, matrix model, DBT and EMDR. She has over 15 years of experience helping individuals, families and our community grow and prosper.

Kate Nicolarsen, LIMHP, LCSW, LADC


Kate received her Bachelor of Social Work in 2000 and her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2002, both from the University of Kansas. Kate has worked in the Omaha area since 2002 with a focus on child, adolescent and adult mental health and substance use. Kate has experience in all areas of mental health including depression, anxiety, trauma, attachment, ADHD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder and substance use. She is trained in EMDR and has extensive early childhood mental health training.  Kate utilizes approaches that include cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT, EMDR and trauma informed treatments that help people recover and grow out of their life experiences.

Kathryn Thompson LMHP LIMHP LCSW


Katie earned her bachelor of arts degree from Augustana University where she studied religion and psychology, and she earned her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Katie enjoys providing individual, family, and group therapy with all ages, and utilizes a strengths based approach with therapy modalities such as CBT, Narrative therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and DBT. She values client centered work, and is honored to walk alongside clients as they process life experiences and create an empowered life.
