Johnathan Latta LIMHP, CPC

Biography

Johnathan received a BS in Psychology from Grand View University in 2011. He earned his Masters of Science in Counseling degree from Bellevue University in 2015. Johnathan began his career working with adult individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illnesses in learning coping skills to better manage their symptoms and live more fulfilling lives. He has experience in facilitating DBT Skills group, CBT skills group, substance use groups, and provided individual therapy. Johnathan enjoys working collaboratively using evidence-based therapies to assist individuals to increase their motivation and effectively live fully in the present moment, while working towards reaching their personal life goals. Johnathan approaches therapy as a journey for both the therapist and the individual to discover their strengths and facilitate emotional healing. Johnathan utilizes various interventions from ACT, CBT, Mindfulness Based-CBT, DBT, and EMDR. He has been practicing since 2015.
