Biography

Dr. Gallner attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center School of Medicine for his medical degree. He then completed residency at Creighton University School of Medicine Psychiatric training program where he was served as a Chief Resident. He has been a lecturer for medical students and residents at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Creighton CHI Residency Training Program. He has previously served in the American Psychiatric Association Assembly as a Midwest Regional Representative.

Dr. Gallner is an avid runner, tennis and basketball player. He enjoys Creighton and Boston Celtic basketball.

Dr. Gallner has been my doctor for almost 5 years. Over the past 5 years he has truly treated me with the most respect and compassion. It’s not easy for someone to get help with their mental health but he has truly helped me in my lowest lows and my highest highs. He cares about me not just as a patient but sees me as a person. I highly recommend him for any type of mental health care especially anxiety and depression. 10/10 recommend, thank Dr. Gallner for all of your time but most of all your understanding and support.

I started seeing Dr. Gallner after searching for a psych/therapist who listened. He was the first Psych who actively listened and asked me about what I had shared in my entrance paperwork, and followed up with topics from previous sessions. I also appreciate how he works with me for my specific needs/wants and has discussions about outcomes. He works with his patients and treats them right. He does a great job asking about personal interests and life updates. Very personable and super kind! I have made semi last minute requests for appointments or reschedules and he has been very flexible when available. In general I am so glad i found him, because he is easy to talk to and cares for his patients. It really is nice to have a Dr. that you can open up to! Also, the office staff are all super friendly!
